First South Bank – has opening for two positions: Commercial/Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist and Commercial/Consumer Loan Set-Up located in the Washington Operations Center.

Commercial/Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist:

Job Description: Primarily responsible for daily review of exception reports, processing collateral release requests, paid loan processing, subordinations and various loan file processing ensuring audit and procedure guidelines are met. Process and research requests related to loan files, collateral releases, etc. in a timely manner. Assist with audits of loan files.

Education:

Associates degree in Business or Finance related field. CRC Preferred.

Experience:

 Two years loan servicing experience preferred.

Requirements:

Expertise with Microsoft Office Products required. Ideal candidate should possess outstanding communication skills, organization skills and be detail oriented. Team oriented personality required.

Commercial/Consumer Loan Set-Up:

Job Description: This position is responsible for set-up of new commercial and consumer loans in the Bank’s systems and to ensure that loans are booked based on the terms and conditions approved by the Bank’s lending authorities. Perform a review of loans booked by other booking specialists. Monitor and process exceptions documented by post audit. Interact with branches regarding any fee discrepancies with closing documents.

Education:

Associates Degree in business or financial field is preferred.

Experience:

Two years loan set-up experience preferred.

Requirements:

Must possess good oral and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with all types of clients, business associates and management. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
