Maintenance Technician
This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the company’s business goals and objectives.  This person will
*        Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility’s equipment
*        Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
*        Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
*        Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
*        Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
*        Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
*        Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Competencies
This position requires organizational skills, thoroughness, technical capacity (including PLC and other automated systems), time management, communication skills, initiative, and ethical conduct.
Work Environment
This company has a warehouse connected to clean rooms and labs therefore this person will be working in both areas.  This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, climbing for most of the work day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs.
Required Education and Experience
*        Minimum of a high school education or GED.
*        Ability to read and write English and follow verbal instructions
*        Be able to pass a forklift operator license test
*        Must have PLC and/or other automated machinery knowledge
*        CRC Preferred

Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Control
Shipping and Receiving person verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.  Inventory control manages inventory through database and maintains levels required on a daily basis to meet production needs
*        This person will be operating lift trucks and hand trucks to move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
*        Unpack, and route incoming shipments. Keep an inventory of incoming products
*        Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
*        Keep records of data/adjustments for quantities of parts transferred to production
Competencies
This position requires organizational skills, thoroughness, time management, communication skills, and initiative.
Work Environment
For the majority of time on a daily basis this position requires the person to work in a warehouse, connected to clean room/lab environments.  This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, climbing for most of the work day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs.

Carolina Vinyl is a modern manufacturing facility producing a complete line of PVC (vinyl) products including fencing, railing, mailbox posts, arbors/pergolas, birdhouses, birdfeeders, and various other outdoor products.
Individuals must be self motivated, able to follow detail written instructions, accurately read a tape measure and apply measurements, and can work both inside and outside. Candidate will be responsible for producing - railing, fencing, decking, arbors, etc., out of vinyl; but must be willing to perform all level of tasks, including swiping - in order to complete the job. Lastly, must be a team player, have a valid NC driver’s license, forklift experience a plus, but not necessary; CRC preferred (please include CRC scores).
