Warehouse Operations Manager
Description:
Receives and stores product by designing and developing product movement and storage systems.  Achieves warehouse operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans; implementing productivity, quality and customer service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends.  Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.  Secures property by developing protection and access policies and procedures. Requirements:
·         Two or more years experience with property and warehouse operations management
·         Must be able to develop, implement, train and enforce warehouse operating standards
·         BS in related field or appropriate experience
·         Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Software (May be covered by previous on the job training)

Operations Support Associate
Description:
Performs duties in support of the General Manager and Operations Manager which include processing orders and receipts, inventory control, auditing loads staged for shipment, monitoring workplace health and safety requirements, communication with customers, quality assurance of processes, assisting in development of projects and having a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the operation contributes to these. Full-time position; 40-hr/week. CRC Preferred.

Requirements:
·         Minimum two years’ experience in product distribution
·         Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with customers and warehouse personnel
·         High school diploma
·         Post High School education or training preferred

Assembler

Position: Assembler
Location: Farmville

Scope of Position:
Perform a wide range of assembly tasks throughout the plant, which require some skills and minimal training. The position pays $8.50/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
List what the person must do to perform the job to meet standards.
·         Works from written or verbal orders, prints, instructions, and directions
·         These tasks may include assisting on machinery, assisting in packaging of products, transporting or storing of materials, assist in Shipping and Receiving loading and unloading trucks
·         Be able to perform daily inspections maintain equipment when necessary, work in crating, move a variety of materials, etc.
·         Uses air tools, saws, drills, and hand tools
·         Detects and reports defective or unsafe equipment and materials as well as unusual situations to supervisor
·         Observes and obeys all safety rules, practices, and procedures
·         Wears and employs personal protective equipment as required
·         Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested
·         Regular attendance is always an essential function

Position Requirements:
The Assembler must possess the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
·         Ability to read and write
·         Read and follow work orders
·         Ability to read a measuring tape
·         Ability to follow instructions
·         Ability to inspect material
·         Ability to lift 75 pounds intermittently
·         Ability to do repetitive bending, reaching, stretching, lifting and twisting
·         Ability to stand for long periods of time – approx. 50% of the day

Forklift Drivers & Line Technicians

Forklift Drivers- Individuals will drive various types of powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). Duties include, loading, unloading, counting, issuing, delivering, putting up, assisting in stock record keeping, taking inventories, etc.; must have at least 6 months of forklift experience. Welding Line Operators

CNA Technology, LLC – has job openings for Welding Line Operators

Summary of Position:
Operator sets up and operates machine to weld metal tape over insulation on wires or cables according to specifications. Installs dies, machine screws, and sizing rings using hand tools. Starts machine and sets controls to regulate temperature and synchronizes speed of cable. Measures cable for conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Tests physical properties of product with microscope and adhesion tester.

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Operate machinery.
  • Perform changeovers.
  • Oversee training of assistants.
  • Maintain production and reports.
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment problems.
  • Perform other related work as required.
  • Reviewing previous shift's production with operator being relieved.
  • Reading operator instructions; reviewing quality standards and specifications.
  • Contacting technician or supervisor if parts do not meet quality standards as defined.
  • Inspecting parts, to customer specifications, and packing parts to packaging instructions.
  • Recording scrap or non-conforming product on Control Sheet and place in appropriate containers.
Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
  • Welding experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience preferably in wire/cable.
  • Self-starter; motivated and energetic individual that is accustomed to working in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Use of hand tools, such as wrenches, scrapers, die gauges, screwdrivers, tape measures, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving / troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to complete duties as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Strong math and problem solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to stand and move about for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • CRC Preferred
