ECVC Cleaner positions

ECVC has four new job openings. There are three PT Cleaner positions and one PT Lead Cleaner position. Positions will include traveling to different locations as a team. Transportation to these locations will be provided, however, transportation to and from work is the responsibility of the employee. Accepting applications through October 2, 2017.

Millwrights

Millwrights needed for Field Installation Crews with experience installing equipment, steel erection and/or millwright and maintenance.  Welding qualifications or experience a plus.  Must be able climb ladders, work at heights, and work in hot, cold and dusty environments.  Must be available to travel. Pay commensurate with experience. Paid vacation, holidays, health insurance, 401K. Must pass drug screening and background check.  CRC Preferred.

News Alert - ACT Updating NCRC

News Alert – ACT Updating NCRC

ACT, Inc. announced they have updated and renamed the core ACT WorkKeys assessments which make up the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). The updates include contemporary content and more engaging graphics. Called NCRC 2.0, Reading for Information will be called Workplace Documents; Applied Mathematics will be called Applied Math, and Locating Information will be calledGraphic Literacy, to more accurately describe the skills it is assessing. The current versions will sunset on October 1st, 2017; thereafter, all online study material and assessments will be on the new platform and reflect the updated assessments, the older version will no longer be available.

To prepare for NCRC 2.0, the NCRC Lab and all testing at the PCC Greenville Center will be suspended for two (2) weeks, from Sept-18 through Sept-30. We will resume NCRC operations the week of Oct-2 (Mon).
