ATech Class Announcement

Within the Advanced Manufacturing sector the need for technicians is in high demand. However, many companies require individuals to demonstrate that they can thrive in this environment by scoring a 3 or higher on the WorkKeys’ Applied Technology Assessment.

To help individuals achieve this task, PCC is offering a FREE 16-hour - Applied Technology (ATech) Class for those interested in skilling up in this critical area. This is an instructor-led class which focuses on the following key areas: Electricity, Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Fluid-Dynamics. Those successfully completing the class will be given the ATech assessment at No Cost. Class will be delivered over two Saturdays, Oct-24 and Nov-7, training schedule for both days is 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (with a 30-min lunch break); the ATech Class will be held in Room 301 at the PCC Greenville Center (3107 S. Memorial Dr.)

To qualify, individuals:
1)      Must have a CRC with a score of 4 in Locating Information (LI).
2)      Must not have previously attended an ATech Class
3)      Must be willing to commit to 16 hours of training
