Veterans-Tools for Advanced Manufacturing

Tools for Advanced Manufacturing for Veterans
Pitt Community College (PCC) is excited to announce, we have partnered with ECU and DSM Dyneema to sponsor a training program to help veterans re-entry the workplace. The program is called – Tools for Advanced Manufacturing for Veterans. The training is only for veterans and is offered at no cost to them. The program will feature the following training modules: OSHA 30, Lean Six Sigma - White Belt, and ECU Innovations Training. In addition, a workshop assisted by representatives from five leading manufacturers will be conducted to help sharpen interview skills, and participants will learn more about area manufacturing companies. This program is only available to veterans. Individuals must have a CRC, and additional WorkKeys assessments may be required. Training will occur at several locations during the two weeks, i.e., PCC, DSM Dyneema, ECU, etc. The training dates are: July 29, 30, 31, Aug. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
